Repairing the meanders
Works are underway to repair and and improve the banks of the meanders along the River Cuckmere.
These improvements will create new launch areas for water users, whilst protecting the banks for wildlife.
This work is being carried out next to the South Car Park and around the Buzz Active centre.
Water users will still be able to launch from the jetty near Buzz Active whilst the works are being undertaken. However, at busy times, users may need to follow directional signs to ensure they are launching in the right areas.
Works are expected to last six weeks and should be completed before the end of June.
