CPRE Sussex Countryside Day

Join CPRE (Campaign to Protect Rural England) as they celebrate 100 years of protecting the countryside with a day of family activities, guided walks and a special centenary talk at the Seven Sisters Visitors Centre.

Family Fun Activities (10:00 – 14:45)
Drop in to the Pump Barn and take part in a range of nature-themed craft activities suitable for families and children. Activities include summer lantern making, animal face painting and creating fantastic creatures from clay. Everything you make, you can take home!

You’ll also get the chance to take part in interactive activities focused on protecting the Sussex countryside, helping safeguard its landscapes and wildlife for years to come.

Guided Walks (10:30 and 11:30 )
Join one of two guided walks exploring the nature and history of Seven Sisters.
£4 (£2 for CPRE Members)

CPRE Centenary Celebration Talk (15:00 – 16:00)
Join us in the Pump Barn for a fascinating talk from bee expert and conservationist, Dave Goulson as he reflects on 100 years of countryside protection and looking ahead to the future. Plus, grab a slice of CPRE’s 100th birthday cake!
